Get to know Sofie Andersson who works in finance and administration.
Who are you? Tell us a bit about yourself
My name is Sofie Andersson, I am 40 years old, I am married and have three children aged 21, 18 and 14 and live outside Hillerstorp with my family. In my spare time I spend a lot of time with my family.
How did your journey at Axelent Engineering begin and what made you want to work here?
My journey began in 2001 at Hillerstorp Specialmaskiner, which was later acquired by Axelent Engineering, so that’s how it went.
Tell us a bit about your professional role?
I work with finance and administration here at the company, which mainly involves handling supplier invoices but also many other things.
What do you find most inspiring about your job?
What I find most inspiring about my job is that there are always new exciting projects going on and no two days are the same. Colleagues here care about each other and that makes us a good team together.
I am energized by feeling that I am doing something important every day and can help people, but at the same time I am part of a business-driven operation.
How would you describe Axelent Engineering as a workplace?
Axelent Engineering is a company that cares about its employees and offers a great working environment. I really enjoy working here.
Can you describe something you have done in your job that you are particularly proud of or that has been particularly enjoyable?
I think it is difficult to mention just one specific event, but I think it is extra fun to be a little “spider in the web” and be involved in planning and implementing various activities, whether it is for a Christmas party or messing with the move, which was a big project for all of us.
