Henrik Granquist

Who are you? Tell us a bit more about yourself.

My name is Henrik Granquist is 44 years old, married and has two children, and we live on a farm outside Grimsås. I compete in Cykelvasan every year, so that’s about 100 miles of mountain biking per year. I am a goal-oriented person who loves to work. I run a farm/forestry in my spare time with meat animals.

How did your journey at Axelent Engineering begin and what made you apply to work here?

I started in 1997 at Hestra Mechaniska, which was later acquired by Axelent AB, which I think was a huge boost. (I have also worked four years at Dynamate in Södertälje 2004-2008).

Tell us a little about what your professional role looks like

I work as a project manager where I am the one who holds together assembly and installation at the customer, and supports the designers in their work to design new machines. In other words, I’m the spider in the web.

What do you find most inspiring about your job?

The best thing about my job is the variety, that there are always new exciting projects to work on. Then there are good colleagues and a great team.

How would you describe Axelent as a workplace?

I would describe Axelent Engineering as a modern technology company that has high ceilings and is constantly at the forefront and strives to be the best. I really like it here.

Being able to manage the entire move to our new premises on Baldersvägen was particularly enjoyable.
