Get to know Marko Ilisic, our machine engineer
Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Marko Ilisic and I am 26 years old. I was born and raised in Gislaved. I left Gislaved for 3 years to study Mechanical Engineering at Halmstad University. Immediately after my studies, I returned to my home region again.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I prefer to spend my free time at the gym as I am very concerned about my body and health. In addition to the gym, traveling is high on the list and I try to squeeze in a weekend trip to some country from time to time.
What do you do at Axelent Engineering and how long have you been here?
I work as a machine designer/project manager. I started working here in the fall of 2021.
What makes you enjoy your job?
What makes me happy at Axelent is the constant flow of new challenges and that no two projects are the same. Then the community at Axelent is something special, everyone is like-minded and has the same drive/goals.
What do you think is the most fun part of your job?
The most fun part of my job is to be part of the future, to work with constant development of new and existing machines.
What is the best thing about Axelent Engineering as a workplace?
The best thing about Axelent is the community and the shared vision. There are opportunities for development and the competence on site is very high. The organization is very good and they are very dedicated to their employees.
