Get to know Nils-Anders Brunnsgård, our mechanical designer and project leader
Who are you? Tell us a little bit about you and your educational background
I live in Reftele with my partner, daughter, and a Labrador puppy. Sports have always been a big part of my leisure time, both watching and participating myself. I am currently a coach for a girls’ team (football) in Reftele and usually take part in some recreational races per year, such as the Lidingöloppet.
I studied mechanical engineering at Halmstad University and have worked as a designer for about 20 years since then.
How did your journey with Axelent Engineering start and what attracted you to come here?
I joined Axelent Engineering as a consultant in 2009 and got employed in 2010
Tell us a bit about your role in the company
I work as a mechanical designer/project manager in our projects. The main tasks are to design/draw custom machines and lead the project (schedule, budget, documentation, component procurement, project meetings (internal and with the customer), etc.
What do you find most inspiring about your job?
Finding good solutions together with the project team that result in great machines with satisfied customers.
How would you describe Axelent as a workplace?
I really enjoy working at Axelent Engineering. The job tasks are varied and inspiring, I have good colleagues and there is good leadership/guidance. I believe that a bright and exciting future awaits Axelent Engineering.
Can you describe something you have done in your job that you are particularly proud of or that was especially enjoyable?
It is always rewarding to be happy/proud when a project exceeds the requirements (performance, cost, etc.). A few years ago, I designed a machine that exceeded the performance by a lot, which made me particularly happy/proud.
