The missing link between wire bending and spring forming has been found with the FRX.

 

This advanced wire forming machine handles material dimensions from 0.8 to 6 mm and is designed for manufacturing compression, torsion, and extension springs, as well as complex 3D bending directly from coil. Equipped with a versatile, robotic bending arm, it offers unlimited rotation around the wire to effectively eliminate torsional stresses during processing, which is especially critical for precision applications.

 

Multi-axis interpolation technology enables the production of intricate parts with high precision, making the machine ideal for small to medium production series. Rapid changeovers are supported by sophisticated software and hardware, including an optional uncoiling detection system to further optimize the process.

 

The machine’s HMI system comprises an industrial PC with proprietary software and a 19-inch touchscreen with a multilingual interface. Advanced features, such as simulation software, a tool editor for programming complex parts, auto-correction based on data from 3D instruments, and slow program execution, enhance usability and productivity.
