Who are you? Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Markus Nyström, 27 years old and living in Gislaved. Started my career as a design engineer, but in recent years I have switched to working solely as an automation technician.

 

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I play football in Gislaveds IS, so the majority of my free time is spent on the pitch. Sometimes I can also squeeze in golf, tennis and padel a bit sporadically. Otherwise, a lot of time is spent with family and friends.

 

What do you work with at Axelent Engineering and how long have you been here?

I started in January 2022 and currently work as an automation technician.

What makes you enjoy your job?

There are several things really, partly because you get to work with like-minded people who have a lot of knowledge. But mainly it is a very familiar atmosphere.

 

What do you think is the most fun part of your job?

I would say when you start commissioning a machine and things start moving. And that you get to go around to many different companies and help, it’s fun to meet new people!

 

What is the best thing about Axelent Engineering as a workplace?

It is the whole thing really, if you want to develop, it is a very good environment to stay in considering all the technology we get to work with. It’s also a good and stable organization, there are many who have worked here for a long time and I think that says a lot.
